茨城県古河市を拠点に活動する一級建築士事務所です。
新築・リノベーション、住宅・店舗・公共建築など規模を問わず、国内外で建築や住環境に関するデザイン業務に取り組んでいます。
代表の田熊隆樹は台湾の建築設計事務所・田中央工作群（Fieldoffice Architecs）にて公園や美術館、バスターミナルや駐車場など、地方都市の大小公共空間の設計・監理をおこなってきました。さらに大学時代より個人で継続している日本・アジア・中東の集落や民家調査を通して、人類の普遍的な住環境に関わる知恵を調査・研究・執筆しながら、デザインに生かしています。
Manlai Studio is an architectural design office based in Koga City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
We work on architectural and living environment design both in Japan and overseas, regardless of scale, including new construction, renovation, residential, commercial, and public buildings.
The founder, Ryuki Taguma, has designed and supervised large and small public spaces in regional cities, such as parks, art museums, bus terminals, and parking lots, at the Taiwanese architectural design firm Fieldoffice Architects. He has been conducting personal surveys of villages and private homes in Japan, Asia, and the Middle East since his university days. Through these studies, he researches and writes about wisdom related to universal human living environments, incorporating these insights into his design work.
